Turkey is a transcontinental country located mainly in Asia with a small portion in Europe. The country is a secular state (neutral in matters of religion towards citizens) with the majority of its citizens registered as Muslim. Turkey dates back to Biblical times with various rulers, empires and hostorical events as follows: Hittite Empire, Persian Empire, Saint Paul begins his ministry establishing Christian churches, Constantine the Great establishes Constantinople - Byzantium Empire, Ottoman Empire, Republic of Turkey is founded by Ataturk, Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK), and now Justice and Development Party (AK Parti).
