Lauterbrunnen
Lauterbrunnen is a village located in the Lauterbrunnen Valley featuring numerous waterfalls from melting glaciers (snow) so high in elevation that time the water reaches the bottom it is mostly spray. Staubbach Falls is the most famous waterfall in the valley where water drops from a height of 297 meters (974 feet).
TRUMMELBACH FALLS
Trümmelbach Falls is located in the Lauterbrunnen Valley and consists of ten glacier-fed waterfalls inside a mountain made accessible by a tunnel-funicular built in 1913. The water source is from the melting water from the Jungfrau glacier that carries up to 20,000 liters of water per second. Trümmelbach Falls is open from early April to Early November.
